Let’s send him a message to carry out his campaign pledge of hope in renegotiating NAFTA and CAFTA. ]]> NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement – U.S., Canada and Mexico) and CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) have had devastating effects -destroying the livelihoods of people in Mexico and Central America, displacing them off their lands, poisoning their environment and forcing them into peonage working in maquilas, as well as destroying family-supporting jobs in the United States.
